Zebulon Montgomery Pike (January 5, 1779 – April 27, 1813) was an American brigadier general and explorer for whom Pikes Peak in Colorado is named. As a United States Army captain in 1806–1807, he led the Pike Expedition, sent out by President Thomas Jefferson, to explore and document the southern portion of the Louisiana territory and to find the headwaters of the Red River, during which he recorded the discovery of what later was called Pikes Peak.

In early November 1806, Pike and his team sighted and tried to climb to the summit of the peak later named after him. They made it as far as Mt. Rosa to the southeast of Pikes Peak, before giving up the ascent in waist-deep snow.

Zebulon Pike never reached the summit of Pikes Peak. Diablo 2 is my favorite game of all time, and I've never reached Guardian. In honor of Zebulon Pike, I'm taking his name to the summit of the game I never managed to finish.

Oh baby. I'll forgive the raise skeleton points for that sexy +3 Teeth.

I had a perfect map for Rakanishu runs so I'll stay here until lvl 13 or so.



First S/U drop from Rakanishu. Teeth spam is extremely strong right now.



Blood Raven was a pain. Teeth absolutely shreds big groups, but it's awful against single targets.

Cleared almost the entire Underground Passage without finding the Dark Wood, might as well clear lvl 2 while I'm here...



Ended up getting some nice upgrades. I think this dropped from the chest?



And this dropped from a boss pack. I'm sorry for doubting you Underground Passage lvl 2!!!

First attempts at Bone Wall spam against Treehead. The mana cost is way too high at this point, but it has potential.



Saving Cain from sexual slavery.



Countess will be farmed for some early runewords.

Such a nice armor for an early game caster.



Spraying Teeth at single targets is getting really, really annoying.



Hit 18 and got Bone Spear just before Andariel. On to Act 2!

I needed to replace my Teeth gear, and Drognan was happy to supply a nice wand.



I hired a defensive merc and made this for him from some Countess runes.



Getting the skill book. Mana potions are being chugged with no remorse right now.

Grabbed the cube...

CE is crazy over powered with amp. Maybe look into pumping a few solid points into that for the radius. It's definitely worth it.

Arcane Sanctuary was actually kind of soothing, all those long corridors line up the monsters nicely for Bone Spears



Duriel left me alone as long as I kept a Bone Wall between us. Time for Act 3!
