Hey Everyone! Welcome to my journey on the Ultimate Holy Grail!

What is it you say? Well, I am sure you are familiar with the Holy Grail challenge to find every unique/set item in the game. I am taking on that challenge, but with a twist:

• 1. I can only advance as far as the next Super Unique/Boss in the game until I complete than monster's "Holy Grail"
  
• 2. Completing a monster's "Holy Grail" means finding every NEW item that monster can drop. For example, since Corpsefire drops Arctic Furs, I do not need to find that on future monsters
  
• 3. Item's dropping of monster packs still count. So do gambled items.
  
• 4. Obviously Single Player, /p8, self-found
  

This was inspired by various posts I have seen here and Reddit through the years about completing the Corpsefire holy grail. Well, I am happy to say I already finished that!



I didn't track runs, but as you can see it took me almost to level 18 to find everything. A common choice for these in the past were Holy Fire Paladins since you can just run by and kill everything. I chose sorceress since I will have tele in the long game to speed things up and end-game gear has MF + actual use compared to a paladin. I am now working on the Coldcrow holy grail and found Gull Dagger (eth!), Hotspurs, and The Gnasher. I am level 19 so have tele to speed things up a little. My Magic Find is up to about 215% so I am feeling good about the next few monsters. Below are the items Coldcrow can drop.

Coldcrow
Hotspur
Infernal Cranium
Gull
The Gnasher
The Hand of Broc
Knell Striker
Bane Ash
Torch or Iro

My question to you all is, would you like a post per item found or a post per monster completed? If you haven't guessed, this will take...a while. I will be happy if I finish within 5 years. But, for some reason this is fun for me so I plan on committing. This is hopefully the place I will continually track my progress and eventually complete the Ultimate Holy Grail!

IMO post per "boss" or monster. That way it's easier for everyone to know which items came from which mob

It's not that hard as he won't progress until he finishes one
So I'd say per item, but with progress pictures- so if any update to your items post them too

Does this mean you can't progress to nightmare before finding the cow king set items?

I will post per item and then post a completed boss picture as well. Also any major gear upgrades I will post an update.

And yes, I need to find all new items Cow King can drop. I am more worried about Tal Ammy off Stormtree though :/

You need to find the top item from a monster even if you found it before on someone else?

Nope. If I find an item on a previous monster, I do not have to find it again. However the rules restrict my movement by Super Unique/Boss drop pools. So while technically I think Tal Ammy can drop in Act 2 tombs, I do not need to find it there. I need to find it on (or I guess anywhere before) Stormtree, since he is the earliest Super Unique to drop it
