Back for another challenge after my last barb run (link: https://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=103173367&f=161).

This time we go back to classic, and go with a build I've never tried: melee spearzon!

Rules:

HC
Players 8 at all times
Self found
Pre-expansion (classic)
Melee damage only (jab/impale/fend)

To be honest I have no idea if I can finish the game with this build, just an experiment, let's see how far we can get!

At level 12 we upgrade by gambling a brandistock

And at 15 we can gamble a spetum, just in time for andy ..

Impale is actually pretty nice for bosses now: good damage, slows target, always hits ...

Got a bit close in a few places ...

But we got her down. Pretty easy tbh, always is though. Loot trash ofc

Soon as I hit 20 I gamble a pike, manage to get a fairly decent rare one after a few rolls ...

Tried my luck with a few andy runs, hoping to find something like bloodfist or death sash ... only decent drop was hsauras belt, would be nice to also find boots for ar:
