when i said hes a psychopath just manipulating players for profit and not someone who cares about the game at all. cant remember which post but i remember i said it
i did it so easily because the trick is to simply ask yourself "could this person actually just be manipulating me?" and 90% of the job is done. it worked with an ex gf, and it was way easier with chris as i wasnt emotionally invested
for those not seeing whats going on, every couple of patches they revert the game to absolute trash and then gradually improve it during the next 3-4 patches, and ppl cheer when they do it as even dirt tastes good if you ate shit before it
so the total hype is positive! there is no "vision" for the game, just for the consumer; to be stuck in a permanent dopamine loop without actually needing to improve the product. thats why the main changes (along with the drop reduction which was probably the biggest change ever) were omitted in the patch notes and why they are nerfing deterministic crafting into the ground, because their "vision" isnt something they can openly be proud of. players arent doing an unpaid job, they are actually paying to do it
i read chris' reddit post, not only is he not apologizing, he is actually mocking players
in a weird way, im impressed how he manages to pull this off repeatedly with zero charisma and midwit level intelligence
will he manage to pull it off again though, or has he bitten more than he can chew? WILL HE? cant wait to find out
