from your experience, which trading method is the safest?

1. Putting a high ilvl rare item in the trade window
2. Actually list an item and send the message in-game to make the transaction look like a real, ordinary trade. @InsertYourCharNameHere Hi, I would like to buy your Soul Bane Prismatic Ring listed for 1 mirror in Standard (stash tab "art2"; position: left 10, top 1)
3. Invite the player to your guild and trade using the guild stash
4. Drop items on the ground
5. Only trade with accounts that's 3+ years old, with multiple high level characters and support packs
6. any additions?

i didnt trade much yet but feel like listing an item on poe trade and copy that message to buyer (in pm) should be kinda safe? i mean it's just like some random dude bought your overpriced item, is that against the rules?

that is the safest method

yeah i feel like if you use that one combined with #5 (only trade with old accounts) it should make things very safe

very curious if anyone got banned by trading like this, also curious on if anyone has gotten banned for using method #3 (using guild stash tabs)

this pretty much, if the traders arent lazy and for example you actually list some item for the exact amount of exalts you are buying for your fgs and the other guy pms you for it (the item, not the fgs), ggg cant do jack shit about it. you sold an item for all they know

so for the absolutely safest trade, go for this. i know its a lot of work especially on ladder start, but this is impossible to track
