With that amount of investment could I do all content?

Depends on build really.

Phys trapper can probably do it with 20ex. Playstyle is not for everyone.

Skele Mages can also, I know because it was my league starter.

With the lower investment though, it will take more skill to accomplish and knowledge of boss mechanics and such.

Only thing I can see you having major issues with is feared and high wave simularicums.

How did you find skele mages was it nice to level easy to grind maps?

Very easy to level, works even as a league starter, only need 2 items to get running, its a little pricy at start of league but its dirt cheap at this point in the league maybe 2-5 c to get running all the way to maps.

U can do all content on about 5 10 ex on phys trapper lol including the feared.

20 ex can get you started for sure on mages, but you wont have it very easy doing sirus/maven on 20 ex.

My shield is 30 on my mages build that downs everything instantly. Wand is 60. The progression from 20ex to the point im at is rough and im all dps with no defenses and its super easy to make currency with the build at any level.

You can do sirus/maven decently quick with a 5l fleshcrafter(10c), 4-5passive minion medium cluster jewel(5c + 100alts to roll blessed rebirth) + 1minion skill trigger wand(50c) + rest rares/uniques (50c)
No way you need 20ex unless you want to phase stuff quickly because you can't do mechanics like die beam/rotating lasers/memory game and require 6 portals.

everything but wave 25+ simu can be done easily on mages for less than 5ex investment
20 ex makes all content stupid and investing more than that is just narcissism
