i purchased shit on sites like g2g and got hit in the recent ban wave. they just unlocked/unbanned my account.

i had purchased a good amount of goods in game like tabs, cosmetics, etc. maybe $150? i sent them an email from my professional work email and I think that maybe had something to do with it.

i was also honest and told them i bought shit with forum gold and they let it slide.

Do you remember if it said "banned by an administrator" or "account is locked" ?

Did you email them directly or go through the "appeal ban" button on your profile?

Was banned as well years ago spent hundreds on packs and Mtx..told me to fuck off

Ah okay. It seems like locked accounts are much easier to recover. Not sure what makes one offense an "admin ban" vs. "account lock" but the ban is worse.
