Bit done with PoE after playing it for around 4 years.
Looking for a game in that genre.

Played D2 for a long time after that D3 and PoE.
Non of them give me long time pleasure anymore.
D2R is no option. Its the same old bum with a new jacket.
D3 is fun for a day or 3 when a new season is out.
And the direction PoE is going i really dont like.

grim dawn - was meh at best for me but lots of people enjoy it
last epoch - think there is a new patch coming out in a couple weeks (ive never played and not that interested in it myself)

Poe is still the best in the genre by far

No new exciting games anywhere, for my tastes.

Some older ones I enjoyed but have limited replayability and most are single player:

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning
Lego Jurassic World - I am a keyboard and mouse guy but this is the one game I use a controller instead, must have in my opinion.
Dying Light
Zombie Army Trilogy
Bioshock series
Darksiders series
Orcs Must Die 1&2 (3 is out but sounds a bit hit or miss, I have not tried it yet)
Metro series - exodus is probably the best if you just get one.
Deponia series
Mass Effect 2
A Plague Tale: Innocence - mostly a story but bits of everything.
Witcher 3 - takes a bit to get into but once you get rolling its pretty enjoyable - combat is meh but story is solid.
Real old school game called Mafia - its been rereleased on Steam but sounds like a lot is missing from it and might take away from the greatness of the game. I have it on disc.

Are you looking for strictly arpg's? The other option is Grim Dawn if you like playing single plater with no economy/trading etc.

I've just been playing other genres, Forza Horizon, Halo Infinite, etc etc

Havent played Poe since two years or so. In which direction is it going? What do you mean there?

Destroying builds with the nerf hammer and not listening to the community.
They pretend they do but still have their own agenda.
And ofcourse the focus on selling mtx what seems more important then fixing the game.

the only arpg worth a damn coming anytime soon is lost ark.
I also recommended against it unless they massively change from kr servers.
I only play it cause stockholm

Definitly going to play Wolcen.
Recently bought an rtx 3070 ti with a 20 euro giftcard for steam and Wolcen is available on steam.
Are there reasons why i should not play it vs steam?

Yeah, wolcen was a meme. Although I think most the hate was their servers were shit and they had lots of exploits etc. Seems like the gameplay didn't have many bad reviews that I ever heard about.
Game was basically DOA though and have heard nothing about it since.
