Can anyone explain why prices for d2r items are so astronomically high compared to PoE? Over a month in and jah/ber still over 3k, meanwhile 5 days into scourge league exalts are 140fg? Week 1 shako goes for 3k, which is the equivalent of 20 exalts? Exalts might be slightly more common than high runes, but not by much. What's the deal?

hrs in d2r are like headhunters in poe

idk what this means. 1 doctor card is probably about the same rarity as a hr

Exalts are a lot more common than high runes.
You're also comparing a league to a whole new game.

idk, they seem about the same to me. I usually find about 25-30 exalts playing for first month of a poe league, and i'm around 20-25 hr in a similar time frame.

jah and bers are much more rarer than exalts. that simple (what post #2 is saying)

What exactly do you count as hrs.

E: oh yeah maybe they tweaked the droprate in d2r. No idea.

trust me when i say you cnat compare those too ....

in d2r HR have a fixxed drop cahcne no iiq can change that ( only player count )
in d2r you ahve a fixxed number on monsters in an area

while in poe you can both scale that to like 1000 times more to the basem cutedog and emp are prim examples to that ...



also in avg you find couple ex ( as general loot ) per hour with mapping, in d2r its not uncommon to have 1 week+ without any drops


while in POE you always find / chaos / divine / 6l other currency which you convert easily, in d2r you dont have alot of those common "currency" types


/E: also hr rate got buffed some years ago, but still you are lucky when you find like 1-2 in a months, so say you find 25 hr in 1months of timeframe is jsut a big strech and not possible on a human lvl of playtime
