took me until level 98 to get even a wave 9, which ended up going into trialmaster fight as well
trial master was stupidly easy, dunno about his abilities for the conditional challenges but he did no damage and died faster than most the waves in the ultimatum do
seems to be some phases for him where he leaps round while you are stuck in place but didnt seem to do anything really.

It is RNG how strong he is, because of the map mods you have. I had 6k hp once and he kill me offscreen in one hit probably because I have so garbage ass AoE boss mod and damage mods on.

i got him only one time, was on first week with my random starter

started to cyclone on him before it starts when he was in stasis and i took dmg, died just before he moved xD
