Hits ignore Enemy Monster Chaos Resistance if all Equipped Items are Elder Items

Does this render Negative resist effects like Despair or Occultist Void Beacon useless or does it go into negative resist?

Essentially are their resists always 0 or do they go into negatives if you also add despair or void beacon

Plug it into POB and you can check everything in seconds.

I thought e shroud was shaper

the hit is processed exactly as if the game had no concept of "resistance".

Seems to just not do the entire calculation

ahh thats what i was afraid of, so its as if they had 0 resistance no matter what even if they were supposed to be in negatives

Yeah I had the same issue with minions last season.

I think replica shroud is the elder version

to maximize the bonus damage from eternity shroud you want 1 item non-shaper and then a bunch of chaos pen, you can easily take most mobs well below -10 and bosses to that mark without much investment.

yeah but im wondering if this is the fact then is there really any point using the chest then? I agree though this seems to be the only real way to utilize it

the chest itself gives a TON of damage, that being said, min-maxing requires the -chaos to nearby helm mod and despair and occultist

could maybe use a hunter ammy for the + skills or something instead as the one non elder item. Hmm given me some thinking to do
