I have been playin POE for a couple years now and always see people selling ex by the hundred's

What can i do to get more currency, I obviously dont know what im doing
I have the trade macro
I play cyclone impale champion and witch (carrions-minion build)
anyone help me out with some tips please
i would appreciate it

Farm out tons of the lower currencies, turn them into chaos and turn the chaos into ex. Use poe ninja / poe trade / poe currency trade sites to make this faster

Your odds of just finding pure ex drops is beyond low especially when you play alone. I might find 1ex drop every 3 days and sometimes only 1 a week. It's completely RNG. Make sure you're using a good item filter. Eventually you'll know what sells and what doesn't. You can ID lots of rares that have chances to be good as well. This can net you tons of chaos fairly regularly but it's a grind. Sometimes you ID rares that are worth any where from 20c - 5ex right off the bat though.

Lastly you can start crafting and make tons of EX this way. Keep in mind that this requires alot of knowledge and you have a chance of wasting all your currency by doing things incorrectly.

Note that all of this is pretty much irrelevant in standard now since so many godly items were made in harvest. Everyone just mirrors the best items now.

Right on I use poe trade, i was told not to id all my rares and turn em in for chaos recipe but that seems to take forever. i have found a total of i think 3 ex so far in heist and never more than 5 ex in past 3-4 leagues lol, i appreciate the tips, hopefully i can find enouph chaos to buy ex might start dabbling in the crafting as well, i generally play leagues though i still have chars that get put in standard

I usually go the crafting route, choosing high volume builds like CoC Ice Nova, Cyclone, etc and craft their influenced rares.

well thats one way but you need a budget to get started, which he doesnt have..

sofar the easiest money i made in heist was running gem heists and yolo slamming lenses onto lvl 20 gems

I have about 30 c right now after gearing my 2 chars having a hard time with the carrion golem setup atm, can only get 3 carrions up so far, im in the middle of farmign maps to get bonus to get into red maps and go from there unless anyone thinks that a bad idea?

i have a ton of heist maps and blueprints i should probably sell too

Flipping is how some people have so much.
Anyone can do it and you only need time.

It's like 4% chance to roll the good gems, not at all worth it when 1 chance is 1ex.
