I'm thinking of changing my pc from 9600k/1080ti

To 5600x/3080 and see if it changes anything, was also wondering what's happening for everyone else

was coonsistently crashing with Vulkan, even though gameplay felt smoother.
Switched back to Direct X and i'm fine now in 100% deli.

playing with an i7 - 3770k with a nivdia GTX 660 OC


its smoother with vulcan + close to none crashes with 100% del maps


and with smooth i mean instead of 1-5 fps ~15 fps xD

Play with DX11 - regardless of your system build. Vulkan is hot garbage.

Yeah I know to play with dx, it's just that we had a few month of non crashing vulkan and it was nice, wondering if we can ever get that back

tfw switched to vulkan and never have any issues

intel vidia, never crashing but low perfs sometimes IMO. vulkan good. game bad.ggg losers.

Literally the only person. Suspicious at best. No wonder you prance about telling everyone else their computers stink, you know next to nothing.

the real answer is that vulkan tend to cause client crashes for most people regardless of the content.
if you are one of the lucky ones that had the stars align for them you can enjoy a smoother gameplay experience with vulkan.
if your experience was like mine (crashing on average every 2-3 maps, a couple of times just by loading town actually) then go back to dx.
