From 190 chaos to 150 chaos in the past 2-3 months

Why are standard exalt prices to chaos rates dropping?


e: I just saw a similar post below, but in relation to fg
It seems it's a flood of currency from league players...
However, in the past 1.5 year exalt prices have not moved by this scale after any other league end in that 1.5 year timeframe.

Does anyone have another explanation?

theres probably no better explanation if a method appears that does the same thing exalts do and does it better, exalts will drop in price by a lot and thats what harvest did! not sure if it went core or will at some point, but it will easily make exalts completely obsolete

like when calculators cost a shitton 50 years ago, but then the fucking chinese came and completely overflooded the market with their cheap crap, so the price dropped from like 1000$ to 10$ or something

If it (the harvest method) becomes core (which we dont know atm?), then I should keep my chaos instead of trading them in for exalts at the moment...

no problem ! i dont know that much either cause i havent played for 2-3 years either, although i am following the forums in hope that some shitshow happens

as for the trading, well i dont know ! you never know what can happen in the game, maybe exalts get more worthy again! as someone said, the market is the place where the patient ones get rich...or something like that !1

What happens is this:
1 Start league
2 Stop league
3 League stuff to standard
4 go to step 1

Each repeat will drop prices.
But in every market there is a breakpoint that anybody needs nothing.
high supply no demand.
Seems that breakpoint is now.

Same happened with d2 nl market. Only a huge banwave could make the prices go up.

Pretty sure it was delirium league.

no, harvest league tanked them 200%.

Pre harvest, 28-32 fg a pop
post harvest i've seen as little as 7-12fg a pop.

It was the harvest OP bs that broke the market, they may actually never recover from it and stay around 10fg/ea

Lol wtf I barely played harvest and I quit delirium early

But I remember seeing delirium tank the exalt prices, cant remember what they were before and after

Also 7-12fg holy shit

they might have also tanked because games shit
