Recently joined jsp because I used it back in the D2 days and considered it a good external trading site. Basically I have absurd levels of wealth in Path and haven't played in a couple years, roughly 20k liquid exalts + another 40-50k in items like legacy kaoms, vinktars, etc. I want to convert all of this wealth into fg and then use it in other games & on steam. My main concern is getting banned. I've never cross league traded or RMT'd in Path, and haven't RMT'd in general since FFXI & D2 days. So I wanted to ask is it smart to mule items over onto an alt and sell from there? Or are the precautions basically just always trade a high ilvl rare item when trading exalts for fg? Any advice is appreciated.

First thing first is using your main Jsp account and not a multi

Usually you want to trade a rand item or rare for what you’re trading for, and don’t mention jsp/fg in game

Unfortunately it's been at least a decade since I've used that account and I tried for an hour to remember the email but nothing is coming up. I never had more than 200fg anyway so starting fresh doesn't seem like that big of a deal to me. Anyway, thanks for advice.

The way I like to do it is simulate you are giving away free stuff. Coworker you are giving your stuff to ect... imo sell the exalts bulk in one trade. You will get less per ex, But it will be done.

So legacy stuff sells pretty slow unless you undercut like a mofo. Ive been trying to sell a few legacy vintars for a while. No offers:(

So bulk sell ex you have vs fg.

Trade the items vs ex over time or find a bulk usd buyer vs items.

Poe is kinda dying tho....

Thanks for reply, and yea seems like the game is probably going to be dead until 4.0, and by then I wouldn't be surprised if we see a total currency overhaul. But, when you say sell the exalts bulk in one trade, do you mean like 100+ at a time to people with dedicated buy shops who are obviously flipping? And this is all on the main account and not an alt right? What's your experience with bans for RMT? I'm acquainted with a few people in standard who have RMT'd over 100 mirrors and have never been banned, so I'm thinking it's relatively safe. Still, I would like to get out with over 300k fg before a possible ban hits me.

the problem with poe RMT is that the goddamn paypal always protects the buyer, while not really caring too much about the seller. so what happens a lot is that someone buys something, and then withdraw after some time, and you cant really do much about it at least that was happening when my friend was RMT'ing poe stuffs if you protect yourself well, you wont lose much even if you do get banned, but the withdraw thing is something that will make your life a living hell

Yup, and that's why I think jsp seems safer, because I can just convert everything from here to steam wallet which I prefer anyway. That game Alyx looks fun :D

Drop ex on coast/ trade vs some random items
Don’t sell items for fg that are easy to track, turn all your stuff into ex/mirrors
Don’t talk in game
Didn’t have problem with same amounts ever
