Just updated windows 10 pro, from build 1909 to build 2004 this morning.
Tried to play path of exile
Fps is 37-60
ping ms is 52-68, with random spikes up to 517
Even though I deleted the poe folder in the documents for fresh settings, Same results.
Game seems to run Extra Quality, nice, and smooth, but then character/movements start to get slightly slower, and then fps slightly drops to 37 ish, and then character movements are like rapid fire for 2 sec...
Same thing while in hideout/town
Already did a speedtest @ speedtest.net
10ms to nearest server, very stable.
No missing / bad packets.

-----------------Results above was just with windows 10 Build 2004. -----------------------------

Nvidia Driver
https://developer.nvidia.com/directxNVIDIA DirectX Ultimate Developer Preview Driver [450.99]
Note: Download and install update
Download the Driver uninstaller, and new driver.
Unplug internet, uninstall the old driver/drivers ( some have old versions sitting around lol )
Restart computer
Install the new nvidia driver
restart computer again
Then plug internet back in, otherwise if you don't unplug the internt while you do these steps.... once old driver is uninstalled.
Windows 10 will automatically Instantly install Old generic 320.00 driver.
--------------------
Before starting path of exile again.
Run Dxdiag
Verify that you are running the latest drivers
should say driver model WDDM 2.7
Then I recommend visiting.
C:\Users\yourname\Documents\My Games\Path of Exile
delete that folder, that way you get all fresh settings.
( not required but just recommended )
Enjoy your 3-4x FPS rate !

I temporarily Disabled Vsync to see my FPS
Getting 82-134 FPS on high/ultra settings with X16 Tril.
With only a Nvidia GTX 1080 , non TI.
Any Questions, Just ask.
Keep in mind Build 2004 was a manual update, that some Users have done, not realizing that they will need Manual Updated Drivers.
These will automatically be available in 3-4 weeks either way.
