I'm new to PoE, trying to get into the game, I'm an ex Dialbo II player but I prefer PoE 20 times over it.

A few questions, does the game have any resets just like Blizzard does with Diablo 2 every 6 months and if so, are they scheduled and where I can find them?

They introduce a new league roughly every 3 months. It's similar to diablo 2 ladder resets.
You can figure out prices by looking at the trading forums. There's no up to date guide as prices change fast.
