Can anyone give me a rundown because I think I am missing something, as people are suggesting 50-60 splinters per map (t14 lair or t16 promenade) should be the average, and I average about 20, which my absolute max being 60. But I cant figure out what I do differently on the 45+ runs


This is my first league, so I def dont understand a lot, but here is my dumbed down process


I chisel a t14 or t16 promenade
I jew it
I vaal it (lets assume it stays the same map, and rolls no reflect)
I use 1 awakened sextant on all 4 watchstones in the region
I load the map in the activator with a map scarab, a shaper or elder scarab, and 2 quantity fragments
I run the map to completion including the boss in under 2 minutes



This is my method every run. I am having a hard time figuring out why my max splinters is everyone else's average splinters


Im sure Im missing something obvious, would love some insight or even advice fine tuning whatever im doing

Main thing is being able to clear fast and stay near the front edge of the fog, farther away, you get more, fast clear is essential

extra mobs are important, fully juiced 4x good sextants, all valuable prophecies, 4x extra mob scarabs, good use of other league mechanics to pause delirium.

for maximum shards you've got a full inv of prophecies to proc and use and you're playing on 1/2 screen or opening/closing your inv to pop prophs as you run.

alva, breaches and legion etc also boost it a lot and they pause fog

U also have to run over the white/red pods on the ground. They will spawn tons of mobs to add to ur splinter count

i thought red pods didnt do anything

It might not idk, but prolly faster to just hit all pods tbh

white for sure cus they spawn monsters that are killed and drop but if i see some red pods alone in a corner i dont go out of my way to pop them
i do for white pods

reds dont move the bar they are just annoying
