I'm not sure when this started, maybe last league.

So when i first launch poe usually takes awhile to get to the login screen. Press login, goes to the loading screen then sends me back to the login screen saying an unexpected disconnection occurred. This usually happens 2-3 times before i can get to the character selection screen.

Finally get to the character selection screen, hit play, takes awhile and usually kicks me back out to the log in screen. This usually takes another 2-3 attemps before i can log in fully.

Then usually the first time i try to visit my hideout on first login itll disconnect me to the login screen.


So far I've just been dealing with it taking 15-30min sometimes for the game to be playable.

Is there something I'm doing wrong?

everything else I play/do seems fine. Usually avg 22 down but stuck in an apartment i dont really have another option for another isp

Is the game installed on a solid state drive?
This is the #1 performance bottleneck for poe.

bingo, that's your issue. Path of Exile LOATHES being on a SSD.
