I currently have lots of stuff to trade(especially exalts). But I'm very confused on how to exactly trade in poe by using d2jsp and I'm scared to invite someone to trade because i don't know how the protocol goes and I don't want to waste anyone's time. I've only done diablo 2 trades in the past couple of years.
So can someone quickly walk me through it please(what am i not allowed to type in game, how do I contact someone in game, and also how would a mediator work in poe trades?)

eh if the trade isn't over 4-5k fg i wouldn't bother getting a med for it especially vs common people that roam the poe sections

usually i just pm them my ingame name, they pm me theirs... and i whisper them with "30ex" if that is the trade and just hand it to them. and nothing else.

Thanks for the answer, well I kinda have over 100 exalts, a couple of headhunters, bottled faiths... so it might be in the 4-5k range, I'll try finding someone to sell some of the items to, thanks again.

I've only had a single person try to scam me out of a trade. It was an extremely new account with 1 post and he pm'ed me instead of posting in my thread. He didn't want to give first and left my party. So you shouldn't really worry about it unless you see red flags. Most people will give you a random item in the trade menu for your exalts / headhunters etc and then send you the fg afterwards. Just don't mention anything about d2jsp in game. Really saying nothing is probably the best thing you can do. If you want to be more safe, just request that they post in your trade thread before any PMs.

Honestly, the “safest” way and the only way I do big trades (200+ ex) is by having the person list a random rare for 200 ex and wait for it to go off on my live search. Requires their char name/acc name so I can live search their listings. But it’s the best way.
