why do arpg players hate pvp? Anytime pvp is mentioned for an arpg every pve player losses their mind and doesn't want pvp in their arpgs. I just picture them being the players from d2 that got bm nked all day.

Imagine thinking PoE is a true successor to diablo 2.

If I compare aRPG PvP with MMORPG, it´s huge difference. Im huge fan of 1:1 in any game, but in RPG works much better team:team imho. For example WoW battleground Arathi basin, which is full of situations of 2v2, 3v3 etc. is actually something I miss time to time.

on topic d2 pvp was kinda shitty but there wasn't much else to do

for a modern arpg to compete with poe it will need good pvp though I think
