I want to craft a Helmet with nearby enemies have - Chaos res and with the enchant for BV Crit chance.

How would you go about IT?

This is my first time ever trying to craft something, so i need some help :-)

Was thinking of getting an enchanted base, and using perfect fossil first for quality, and then dense+aberrant.

Is this the right way?

If i do not hit the mods i need, do i have to scourge and start with a perfect fossil again?

What if I also want to get a ton of resistance on it? Do I need more fossils included, or is that "randomly" added?

I was thinking of using aberrant and pristine instead for the nearby enemies + a ton of life.

Don't worry too much on the res roll, focus on -chaos life/es
Adding more fossils just increases costs

you mean BV crit multi enchant ye? try to get item level 84+ to roll those T1 resists
if you get something good with open prefixes, you can use a conqueror's exalted orb to get something good like "10% of physical damage taken as fire"
