Still learning the game but I like to run maps and I've accumulated some items that came up from my filter. I've filled up my quad stash tab and now going through it.

Am I looking for stat mods + resists + crit multiplier/%ele or something? Trying to learn what's what.

I am newish to the game and having this same issue, even after some research. It has everything to do with useful prefixes and suffixes for the most used and viable builds. Tbh I have learned a lot from following Poe’s reddit and peering at the most upvoted crafted items on that subreddit. It gives you a good idea of what people look for are are willing to pay currency for.

Path of crafting is also a good app to download as well. You can craft in a simulation with unlimited of all orbs. Very useful to practice crafting with different bases and such. Hope this helps

For weps you wanna look at physical dps and has to be a t1-t3 base min for example jewelled foil or imperial claw (usually filters dont even show garbage bases anyway), so only phys rolls and attack speed are important and always keep in mind u can craft t5 flat phys,%phys and attack speed so this means u want to id item with at least 2-3 tier3+ mix of those 4 mods (flat phys, hybrid %phys, %phys and attack speed), also crit multi and cc are very good added mods on top of phys mods, bows dont even pick up any worthwhile bow will be crafted with fossils, same goes for staves , wands are also meh to pick up getting a decent wand from id just aint worth it in my opinion.

Shields only titanium and just watch for high es, armor shields are a meme.

Gloves,rings,amulet,boots,belt

You just want high life high total res , t1 stats, high es rolls, any combination of these. Boots and gloves above 150es are considered worthy to put on sale. Also boots without move speed are a meme( you can still craft ms if theres a free prefix)

For chest , imo only loot if u can be bothered vaal regalias and u want 500-600es + on them.

Helms dont waste your time unless its elder base with 82+ ilvl


If you find smth with high tier desirable rolls always keep in mind that you might be able to craft smth thats missing to make it rly nice.




I strongly recommend getting poe trade macro, its very useful, if you press ctrl+alt+d while its on it can open poe trade for you with search containing any mods you picked that your item currently has and easly compare it to similar items listed, its a massive quality of life.

Some lazy fucks are putting everything at 1c or 5 c and when someone ask don't answer and move item in a private tab to pricecheck seriously later.
I hate those people btw, but its probably effective, at the expense of others player's time.

I messaged a guy to buy a jewel for 3 ex, he replied "its 5 ex now" had everyone on discord spend the next 5 hours making increasingly larger offers until we told him he was an idiot and his jewel was over priced at 3 ex.
