Nah if you watch they talk about how sliding down the sound options only mutes in game it doesnt disable the music and voice etc from not rendering on your PC which in turn increases performance.

Agreed, wish I can play on lowest quality, it just lags so bad when you play in a group

Im mostly solo and getting lag spike, friend does also
(I did change the gateway)
