I have played PoE for a couple leagues, but I never really get far. I have had level 80+ chars, but only reach like tier 6-10 maps. I have played barrage, cyclone, and recently a skeleton summoner.

The summoner seemed really fun and easy enough to understand for someone that hasn't played much. This league, based on patch notes, looks like they get quite a nerf. Would it be worth it to make one or should I really consider something else? I do not enjoy having to place mines or totems, but if I had to choose, I would probably do mines (if skelemancer is really that bad of a choice).

Any seasoned PoE players have any input on skelemancers this league?

yes it should be still reasonably strong

zombies took most of the hit from memory not skeles, so it should still be good just not as broken as it was last league

i bet u can clear most content with 6 link armor and 4 link gear

minion instability with vaal skeletons is still one of the hardest hitting things ever, I just hate having to find a 6 blue socket armor. Normal vaal skeletons should perform exactly as they always have, easily clear whatever you want. I honestly don't think I've ever seen them directly nerf anything skeleton related. Let's nerf zombies though because we're ggg and we're brain dead.

Don't count on it cause they will nerf skeleton also if more than half the players playing it.

Don't count on what? Patch notes have been up for a while and like I said, they've never nerfed skeletons. If they do later so be it, but it's literally impossible for it to happen this league.
