Would it be stupid for me to start stock piling stuff in blight to trade in standard? For example a gold oil is 1ex and some change on blight, in standard they're worth 11ex. I'm wondering if it's worth it because of the following issues. Won't most people be doing the same as me so the prices won't be as great once blight characters move to standard? Will these things even trade on standard or is it too dead now? I haven't played or traded on standard for like 5 leagues so anyone who has a good idea on what I should do please reply.

Prices for league specific currency is extremely volatile in the first few days of the end of a league. High risk, high reward.

they are worth more on standard because the only way to get them currently is by dying on a hc character. so already there are less on hc than sc so they have more intrinsic value there

when league ends standard will be flooded with league items and their value will drop drastically for a little while, eventually they will go back up.. if the league item no longer will be in the core game.. which oils will be staying.

its the same as ladder only items going to nl in d2.
