hey guys. went to log in earlier and got hit with the "account locked" message. a feeling of shit washes over me. i e-mail support to ask what's up, and they told me the account was locked for RMTing/using trade sites possibly including D2JSP.

1000's of hours played and 100's of $$$ on MTX down the drain. no warning, no temp suspension, just a permanent ban. i tried to plead with support to get my account unlocked, but no go.

i practically begged support to unlock my account but it just doesn't look to be happening. they were quick to tell me i could make a new account though, after they just closed the one i spent 1000's of hours and 100's of dollars on MTX on. i can't justify making a new acct after that.

just a warning for you guys. i'm not upset over the MTX+stash tabs etc as i am over the time lost. 1000's of hours making sick characters all for it to be gone in a snap. yes, i was careful with trades+not to mention jsp etc. etc. but i don't think it matters if someone reports you(which is what i think happened.)

i hope diablo 4 doesn't suck and that the d2 remaster is a thing.

I rmt'd constantly forever, and i play on an account named plaguefear and my main character is also called plaguefear.
You must have terrible luck.

One of my old chars was literally named RealMoneyTrades

I'm not sure what we did differently

i had a char named jsp they renamed it

so if I whisper to someone "hey its eggson from d2jsp here as agreed my 100 fg for your scroll of wisdom" will they get banned?

it would at most cause on investigation on that player. if they have sufficiently weird trade behavior then they could get banned.
