Hello guys

Just came back to the game and wanted to do some Netflix and chill farm. I’ve been reading I need the elder orb to be able to sustain either glacier or burial, however some people claiming I can just leave one of the connected maps and I can ‘easily’, sustain, is this true? Tried with the glacier but seems like i get lots of mausoleum maps, am I doing something wrong or can’t it be sustained without the elder orb?

All videos I found they use an elder orb? Which video have I missed?

you shape one adjacent map and use elder orb on the other so that the adjacent maps cant drop since they are more than 2 tiers above glacier

because GGG made more connecting paths than there used to be people are using their elder orb to shape the 2nd map connected, but you dont have to if getting elder orb is that big an issue. you just will have slightly less returns on the map, still more than enough to sustain. - just shape one of the connecting

You wont be able to sustain if you only use shaper orb .
