So.. started playing PoE about Abyss.. played a lot of Abyss, got more familiar with the game and kept going for the next upcoming leagues (but mostly betrayal & synthesis). Then I hit a rock bottom in terms of motivation to play due to burnout.
Initially the transition from Diablo 2 --> PoE was super fun, a lot of same mechanics but with massive increase in new content/meta/end-game..

My question is, is it too late to get into Legion league now or will it end soon? Anything I should keep in mind with meta changes or is everything more or less the same?

league ends in like 2 months,plenty of time

tons of time and one of the most fun/rewarding mechanics in awhile.

cause cyclone is broken, GGG even admitted it but wont change it mid league. cyclone was already strong before the buff anyway

because of poe.ninja and other sites that make it readily available for people to copy builds, we have been seeing 40%+ the last 3 leagues of the same skill/build.

you can hop on the meta and enjoy yourself fine still, or do your own thing and still enjoy yourself.

the major downside with this league IMO is that without warlords mark to leech for spells now, there is literally zero way to leech life/mana for spell casters short of life leech and mana leech support gems. couple that with a minor ES nerf and spell casters are not nearly as godmode as they were before.. naturally pushing people to play melee for a melee league.

poachers mark worked fine for me on my CoC spinny boi

some situations it works okay, 24 life on hit is pretty minuscule unless you are getting many hits/sec
