What would be the best craft to finish this? PoB says double damage gives more damage, but since it's 10% it's not consistent imo while the attack speed with always be on in boss fight.

8-10% Double dmg VS 20-22 atk speed while rare/unique monsters are nearby

Socketed Gems are Supported by Level 20 Fortify
130% increased Physical Damage
{crafted}Can have multiple Crafted Modifiers
{crafted}+2 to Level of Socketed Support Gems
{crafted}Adds 24 to 39 Physical Damage
{crafted}13% increased Attack Speed
{crafted}{range:0.5}+18% to Quality

Think of 10% double damage as 10% more.

But is not applied constantly is it? It says " 10% chance to deal double damage" So in theory it will proc once in 10 hits. Maybe I misunderstood the mechanics.

1/10 for 100% more dmg
100/10 = 10% more

Yeah. Can anyone explain why do people craft +2 support gems on melee weapons? It's not like they're gonna use empower with them, is it?
