im lvl 47 atm and I feel as if i have no clue what im doing lol

is there like someone who can talk me into how to play this stupid templar char im building i feel like im doing fine but also feel like im trash and can die any misclick now

using dominating blow + faster attack speed + melee splash doing 1728 dps and lighting strike + increase critical strike doing 1744 dps

also have auras clarity + vitality + herald of ice

and flame golem + burning dmg

got 1620 life 42 es and 512 mana but only 50 usable


this is my cruddy char but idk if im doing something wrong also my skill tree probably sucks balls lol

one of the inescapable things about this game is that your first character or two are going to suck. Its not you - this happens to literally everyone.

you can find a good looking guide and try to follow it - but the game is seriously complex and this sort of thing just is a fact of life.

Well that's just like d2 but I was just wondering if my toon is really really shitty or not also if its possible later on to completely reset it if it is completely crap lol

your dps and life sound fine for your level

the whole game up until maps is basically just a leveling process - it doesnt matter a whole lot. Also some skills are just bad early on (which neccessitates a leveling skill) or vice versa are terrible late game

regardless, you can always respec your character with regrets (and get some points from quests). Ideally youd want to limit your need to respec if possible in a league because regrets there are somewaht expensive


so in short - youre level 47, dont think about it too much. get to level 70 or 80 and see maps are too difficult. If they are youve fucked up, but its too early to know.
you can try to get a 5 or 6 link to maximize dps now.

You need to follow a build guide or you will be totally screwed in end game.

Following a proper build is more important in this than basically any other game. You have to know what your end game plan is and work towards it or else you're going to end up spending 60+ regrets to respec to not suck and die in maps.
