I’m 100% physical conversion to fire.
I’m assuming I would scale better with flat phys than I would flat fire?
And if that’s true, at what increased fire damage % would I start scaling harder off of flat fire damage?
Thanks in advance
poe site says:
Damage conversion is done before any increases, or multipliers are applied to damage guaranteeing that they are only applied once. However, converted damage is affected by modifiers that apply to both the original damage type it was converted from, and the new damage type that it was converted to.so i assume this would mean that flat fire is better if this is true:
FF * (1 + F/100) >= FP * (1 + P/100 + F/100) {where FF is flat fire, F is percent fire dmg increase, FP is flat phys and P is percent phys dmg increase}
note that if you have same amount of flat fire and flat phys added, that would mean that flat phys is always equal or better in terms of damage than flat fire. fire multiplier (more dmg, not increased) shouldnt matter because if im right about the game mechanics, it should multiply in both cases by only fire one

edit: and due to
this, you might want some more opinions
