Couple steps:
1) Make sure you know who you're trading with. In a pm here ask the other guy what his ign is. Check its the same as the guy you find in game.
2) In game don't talk about anything related to jsp - fg, jsp user names, sending, etc. Unlike d2 you dont announce who you are in game at any point. Further discussion about the trade, for example if you find the other guy doesnt want to go first and you want him to - would need to be hashed out through pms here, staying silent in game.
3) The person receiving items vs. fg should put a random rare or unique in the trade box.
Theres other various spin offs of this to make trades seem more legitimate but thats the basics.
