I’m currently leveling an oni goroshi build in legion. The first 4 acts were a breeze and I was consistently getting my her embrace buff and melting bosses immediately with cyclone. I’ve played through most of act 5 at this point and it seems like ever since I’ve put pulverize support in as one of my links I do not get the her embrace buff. My chance to crit with my cyclone is at 28%. Anyone know of any oni goroshi bugs going on?

Effects which trigger when you use a skill will only trigger when you initially start channelling, regardless of how long you maintain a channelled skill. As long as a player continues to channell an ability, this counts as the same single use of the skill. This makes effects such as gaining an power charge using Power Charge On Critical Support, life regeneration for casting a spell with Lifesprig equipped, and other on use effects are limited to one event per channelling regardless of the number of times the trigger criteria is met during the same channell.
This mechanic can have limiting effects for certain supports such as Power Charge On Critical Support, but can also be used to great advantage.

e/ not sure how crits work with channeling skills
what i know is, when cast firestorm, and it crits, all 66.6hits will crit
if it not crits, a old curse (increased crit chance) allowed every single hit to crit or not to crit
