So my zombies,
not melee striking minions, already have plenty of them! (SrS/ or melee skeletiers)
melee nova slam popcorn poison cloud heatseaking corpse healing selfdamage disco zombies!

the patch notes say that my melee Splash have a bugg chance to trigger multiple times overlap on zombie nova slam, i will see if that happens,
but multistrike still stronk for zombie slam, and new support gems will be aswell, like Pulverize (AoE)
and melee skeletens/SrS will wreck with melee splash and other melee support gems (overlapping AoE)

I think we all know who to ignore here.

@topic : I really like all the theorycrafting in these posts but the only results you always get are disco/ram-destroying related...
I'd like to see one of these ideas face some high tier maps/bosses!

hitting over 50melee hits per sec now
melee splash can be linked to zombies and skellies, yet i miss some 3links to test it great atm!

i just go necro, MoM-wicked ward-life+es+mana

i choose the 15@resist bandit quest,
even when 5mana regen/1.75*100=285max mana required to get that 5regen
and the 20%global crit multiplier not realy helping
its still 3 passive points well invested to gain 15res+5regen>2 passive points

1or2 items, and i already wana hit the resist cap
witch allow main stats(es+life+mana) and disco gears, instead of rand resist gear

es-recharge is gone be great on necro, since i gone summon in stages, and sometimes not summon at all, witch allow es-recharge to start, without needing immortal call

shield charge is broken

you just cancel the attack animation enery single charge

hold walk button, and press shield charge now and then, then you never have the shield-charge-delay-attack-animation

So this is the Gem plan:

1link Shield charge (optional combined with 1link Frostblink i use atm)

raise zombies-phantasm-(currently linked to minion speed, but when have speed notes and jewels, nn this support anymore)
planning on linking:
multistrike (for slam disco) and it makes more phantasm vs elite monsters
gmp (for phantasm disco, not sure yet if i go heavy on phantasm, want to use them for the heartbound chain)

1link spectres (may get jewel later on, and link them to cwdt)
stone golem, its regen and its melee (could get more links to it and get jewels)

heartbound loop, not yet, only when i get bigger lvl cwdt gems
skeleton-cwdt-minion speed-srs-spectre(jewel for it)-minion damage
maybe some offering / curse on hit cwdt blade vortex

seems a frenzy charges shield is a great option as a +1link to all zoo
same for the new aura: nearbye enemies take increased physical damage
discipline seems a must for the 30%increased recharge and es (So MoM is just to boost regen to help vs selfdamage, not realy a massive hitpoints bonus vs 1hits)

damage not realy the problem, its about minion agro, and srs-skeletons-disco-charge enraging your following-zoo

and the life-es notes even more OP as in 3.6
the small +10flat es notes are not that bad when not use massive es-gears

So technicly that looks like a pile of 2linked shit,

but,
(2linked in gear+2necro+1aura+1shield)*6avg active gems in use at ones = 36link
