My highest toon is a 22 witch and then a 20 marauder.


Is it even worth making an event char if I'm still new to the game and don't know how to really grind a character out?

I wouldnt play the race if you are new, learn the game first.

Terrible answer. I don't know the game well enough to know what I want to do.

Not trying to waste my time with an event character if my time is better spent learning and leveling my mains.

The event might be a bit hard if you're new to the game. I'd just stick with the normal league.

this game is a BIG learning curve
i suggest starting on standard where most basic gear is cheap af and learn
then play league

This. The random league mechanics stacking I've been saying oh crap a lot lol. Still lots of fun.

I'm having fun in league. I spent well over a decade on d2 so it's not all completely foreign and I'm doing as much reading as I can.

i don't really want to start over in standard. I'm having fun with the memories and stuff in league anyway and playing with found items makes it a challenge.

Yeah the race event throws all thr old leagues mechanics at you.


Edit: but it's definitely better imo cuz I'm getting tons of currency from it and it's more fun than just synthesis.
