This league is the special offspring of delve and incursion I'd say.

every league has just been reskins of the previous mechanics for awhile now with increased loot drops and crazy op crafting sprinkled on top
its why it has gotten so boring

they're just layering op loot and similar new op crafting mechanics on top of each other in an attempt to keep it interesting. It turned me off from the game, although wtf am I going to do, play D3? Fuck no, took a league off and here I am.

And yes, this feels just like incursion. Though incursion felt better to me, getting a narrow layout sucks.

No, its completely different.
It is still path of exile though, so if you are bored of the base game its still going to bore you.
