Tons of people have mentioned it on the forums and on reddit / etc. The problem persists where you start the game and have high fps like 300-500 average and slowly over time it begins to go lower and lower until you're at about 100 or lower. I've tried everything simple, so don't waste your time telling me to monitor temps or download the latest drivers rofl. I've even dug deep and tried a mem cleaner. Did not help in the least. So the only thing I can assume now is that the game has a VRAM leak issue or something else I'm not aware of.

Well the problem I'm mentioning seems to be a 64bit issue as 32bit users don't report this problem. I still feel like it's on GGG's end, but wanted to check if anyone had found a temp solution for it.

What kind of CPU are you using to have it burn through it... most i9 (even the basic ones) only use 20% of CPU usage at ultra setting for PoE..

I agree it's weird to see hardware break from playing a game, probably just bad cooling. But if you think poe only uses 20% of your cpu then you really don't have a clue how computer hardware works. It will use 100% of any cpu you throw at it if you don't have cores parked. The only time a cpu downclocks is if you have a cool n quiet configuration enabled and windows power mode set to balanced. Then if you're just browsing the web or something, you may see less cpu usage. This is easily confirmed by running HW monitor in the background while playing any game. GPU's are the ones that will normally have less overall usage depending on the game.

try cwdt-spirit offering, 4times per sec,
then frame drops to 1-10fps, if stay on same spot longer then 6.66sec

POE performance could definitely be better, like good luck running headhunter + beyond with a party without lag.
