why do people prefer jewelled foils when other swords got the same implicit and weapon range?
some got even 10% more critical strike multiplier!!

it has the highest base dps.. simple

it has more base attack speed than the other swords you are thinking of.

one more question: does consecrated path only takes the main-hands dps as damage boost or from both? should I get a dPS jeweled foil as 2nd or a shaped jeweled foil with gain extra damage stats?

As of the 3.5 patch it alternates, as far as I know.
