Hey

I was wandering what the totems use for the lightning damage.
Is it attack speed or is it faster casting.

I use this build :
ARC totem hierophant

Is my totems considered "minions" when i cast them ?

cast speed and totems arent minions i think !

Cast speed effects them.
Totems aren't considered minions.

It's pretty easy to find a guide and follow that to understand how it works.
Hierophant is pretty simple.

Faster casting give speed to the skill itself (explains the inclusion of the faster cast gem )
Not sure about attack speed if it effects the placement of totems.

In PoB there is no difference, if you add ias only nodes, in dps

Totem placement speed is something else.

Yes did some checking since i am playing a freezing pulse totem atm. you need attack speed only if you use movement skills like whirling blades, shield charge ….
If Always use lightning warp as movement skill no need of ias there.

Totems are lame bud.

Not to be annoying or anything but if there's a game that has a lot of info on wiki, it's poe... https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Totem#Totems_as_allies 4th line clearifies the placement speed of totems.
