Can you life regen vs the darkness from delve? I have a ranger with vaal pact and the combo maybe sucks for delving.

you can life regen but usually not enough to survive against the darkness for long
you can't life steal in the darkness since the monsters don't take damage from your attacks
edit: what you can do in the darkness to survive is to have life gain on hit with molten strike for example, but the best way is to have flares

you can take belt: when life is full, leech apply to es, es no regen, es no recharge, es start at zero

I'm playing slayer with Vaal Pact. Leech doesn't stop at full life gives a nice amount of 'regen' while in the dark.

Really viable for delving IMO
