But isn't that node connected to 3?

My guess would be that the weapon node, at the bottom, would connect to the chest, while the already done node that's connected to the weapon at the top, would lead to the breach.

the mechanic is so shit for this tbh. idk lol.

I haven't played this league in awhile but from what I recall every node can connect to another in one of the 4 cardinal directions. North south east and west. Here's a pic showing which could lead to it and which cannot.

question mark because although west is not technically taken up by a path (despite what it looks like, that connection is north even though it starts to branch off to the west initially) it seems highly unlikely that it's just going to snake around that chest node right next to it to reach the breach one. I would check the 4 I have indicated.
