I like how GGG thinks that people will actually collectively pay for a league or that a streamer will run one with their cohorts for interesting content as if this is all a happy game with the greatest community and best party play ever.

More like people will abuse the shit out of it and pay for a league to play all by themselves to get as much wealth as they possibly can.

Probably one of the worst things they could have possibly done. The epitone of pay to win. No doubt in my mind these extra challenges will come with loot loot loot galore.

seemed like an pretty decent idea to me.

player groups and guilds can SSF and still trade on a small server.

Also seems like they adding a couple options like durability etc to perhaps get closer to a d2 style game.

Sum1 can make a JSP HC league with up'd difficulty with FG buyin's etc.

Also can add freshness after 2 months into the league etc.

Also they say a big patch announcement next week.

Either way ill be sticking to public but it does add some interesting potential not having thousands of people being able to farm perfect gear.

This is amazing, once they allow it permanently I'll just pay for private guild league.

this seems good for some off-season entertainment

I would play a good private league over a normal league

I just wanna port my characters into a hell hole, and kill everything, and feel good about myself, and void every gear that drops.

Unfortunately, im pretty sure all the gear from these leagues will get ported to standard just like everything else does.

when i heard about this on baeclast as an idea i was like "wow this sounds like the absolute stupidest shit ever, no way they are even gonna take this into consideration "

yet 1 day after, here we are

but! if the private leagues have literally any enhanced drop rate, the community will not be very happy about it, and that is an understatement if same drops as the std league, there probably wont be any backlash but they will divide the community even more and im not sure thats a good thing

overall it seems like they are trying to "cash in", thats never a good sign

Eh am rich enough to not care.

Wheras I want content to punish my min maxed character.

my #1 rule is "im not paying shit", so im pretty sure i wont touch these leagues
