I had started this a while ago but stopped due to a long string of gear dropping that I could use on Facebreaker Shield Charge. Now I've got plenty of currency to get this going again. Not sure if I should even bother vs just using claws and getting accuracy.

Dreamfeathers have 650+ accuracy each, and ~260 pdps with 0 evasion. I am able to sustain 63k evasion with surgeon's flask, so 63000/450 = 140% increased attack damage. I believe that would give me a 364 pdps sword, unless its not added to the already local increased damage... then I guess I don't know. So with 2x Dreamfeathers, you're capped on accuracy, and can maintain roughly 85% crit, which as Assassin leaves just enough crit empty to maintain power charges. I would have 60% dodge, and 56% spell dodge on top of the massive evasion. I wouldn't have chain, but I feel like it isn't necessary if you're positioning correctly. I'd also be using Abyssus for insane crits.

So, should I bother trying to build this? Or should I just jump on the Raider bandwagon and use 2x Touch of Anguish, which would probably map clear faster, but would also cost considerably more considering I would need skyforth and accuracy on all gear.

I suppose I could use the Lycosidae shield with 1 Touch of Anguish and not worry about accuracy, but there's still the matter of having over 100 pdps less. Not sure if the extra damage from frenzy charges would be made up for or not vs the assassin.

Frost Blades is a cancerous skill though. Even with chain, mobs get left behind all over the place while clearing.

I haven't had that issue at all thus far on my "clean slate" character using dreamfeathers with only 25k tooltip atm. But I also don't race around like there's a timer on my map, never cared for the clear speed meta. Have you tried playing it since 2.3? It feels a lot better now. I'm honestly disappointed that mathil made it a build now half the stuff I've been trying to buy has quadrupled in price -,-
