Just curious about after a ladder ends and goes to the "Standard" Ladder. Are there builds around for that, as opposed to the new ladders in Settlers, Phrecia or whatever...
I have 3 characters I played as starters to figure out the game a bit, so I could follow a build properly. Instead of deleting them, are there any builds made for them still or is it best to just start new in the current ladder?
THey are lvl 60, 50 and 40 ish.... Just wondering for future ladders.
around 15% - 25% of players play in Standard, with some playing partially in new leagues and partially in standard
Players in Standard often have incredible legacy gear, that is acquired across many leagues - or they bring items from leagues to upgrade their characters
Standard might have fewer players, but when stats were published it was around 40-50% of all trade in path of exile.
But it will be difficult: most of the trade is for high end items, that are very expensive. On other hand, this also means that often the low and mid level stuff is relatively cheap - if they bother to reply to your trade messaages.
Also this means it is harder to sell stuff for you, you need to farm currency, not items
Since your characters are between level 40-60 you probably havent even finished the 10 act campaign and havent started maps. Is your atlas even unlocked? If not, then you really havent played the real game.
With GGG shitting on path of exile 1 and not releasing real new content, your options are probably to finish one of your chars in standard (preferably by following a build guide) just to see maps. If you want to start league, maybe wait for the new league - assuming there even will be one. (Those "events" dont count in my opinion).
Please note that League & standard are very cyclical. When league starts, many players move to league. After 1-2 months, many quit the league or come to Standard. If a league is bad, they can come to Standard.
Now Standard is quite dead, since Settlers hasnt ended for 1 year
