Why does my damage actually go up when taking off one of my 2 claws?

Beacause damage alternate between your main and off hand
So let say claw A is better than B
Wearing A alone will give you better dmg
Some skill might be better when dual wield or only.available wh8le dual wield

It also depends on which skill youre using. And if one of your claws has a high [20+%] attack speed roll or not.

Theres a ton of factors.
