Hi!

Since Settlers, I keep getting lag spikes and crashes.
My hardware did not change, my internet connection did not change.
Sometimes, there are spikes up to 6000 ms. Sometimes, I would instantly freeze on the screen. I would exit the game and come back having RIPped to softcore
In the game logs, it says nothing more than "Abnormal disconnect has occurred".

I keep pinging google to see if my internet is at fault, but this shows perfect connectivity despite the ingame problems.
I've tried switching realms, this did not help.
I tried changing video graphics thinking maybe my laptop couldn't handle it. This did not help either.
I'm at a bit of a loss. Technical forum on poe website was not very useful either, and as we all know, support team there doesn't really... support

I did more thorough testing of my internet stability.
Suffice to say that I found the problem...

I used a more continuous packet sending test than the ping command in prompt. It shows drops in connectivity. It is a problem of my internet after all, I think.
'Tis sad. I like the league mechanic and I am missing all of it :l

I had similar issue lalety, good ping but 1mb/s downloading 100mb/s sending speed. Nothing helped so I called my ISP with complain and suddenly my downloading speed improved.

I sometimes get same problem, but i don't think my symmetric 1 gbps FTTH is at fault
