Havnt played the last league or 2 and honestly un-installed because I so3nt countless hours watching videos going over guides and making build after build that generally ended up in failure... I honestly vowed never to install it again but got to looking at the new league and I can't deny the fact that it looks promising and I love that melee finally got some love... with that bieng said I'm looking for suggestions on LG starter based on what I would call some of my most successful builds which are as follows

1. Ts deadeye
2. Corrupting fever champ
3. Some sort of odd ls build

Builds I refuse to play ever again
1. Poi conc
2. Bane occultist
3. Toxic rain

The build I'm thinking about starting with is called locust mine power syphon

Start with something that you can convert into other builds you wanna play.

For example, dont start corrupting fever champ if you still wanna try power syphon mine or LS.

Id suggest starting with a ranger. Because you can play three of those builds once you simply get enough gold to respec. LS is going to be played with warden now. So you can try all three and stay with which one you wanna stay with. Ive done this multiple times when Ive had no clue what I wanna play.

Another option I've been looking into is cyclone builds as I've never played one... thoughts?

ps mines looks hella good for softcore as long as you can tolerate the locus mine detonation radius thing

Cyclone is primary used as a support ability like to summon corpses for something else lol

as i made a post, cyclone got buffed 3 ways, 15m dps will be easy to obtain while being very tanky, as slayer...

Cyclone itself got a massive buff of 88% more scaling of damage while only loosing a small amount of added phys.
~ It now has 61% Effectiveness of Base and Added Damage at gem level 1 (previously 44%), scaling up to 111% at gem level 20 (previously 59%).

Shockwave got a buff of 29%
~Now has 230% Effectiveness of Base and Added Damage at gem level 1 (previously 160%), scaling up to 336% at gem level 20 (previously 260%)

Infused Channeling got a buff of20% and now has take 10% LESS damage from hits while channeling.
~Supported Skills now deal 20% more Damage at gem level 1 (previously 15%), scaling up to 29% at gem level 20 (previously 24%)


so we are looking at base damage of 188% more x 29%more x 20% more = 291% more damage. Cyclone will be nearly 4x the damage it is now so we will be seeing 30-50m dps pretty easilly from WW

and with the changes to endurance charges..cyclone slayer can be super tanky thanks to masterful form. Stack 7 frenzy charges easily for 7 endurance charges (3+1ascendancy+3tree)granting 28% physical and elemental dr.

get vaal pact leech slayer culling, good aoe range, should be a monster build

id reccomend playing something tanky and fast tho like LS SLayer , fubgun has some good content on the build

VERY Simple build he has there the dps isnt like omfg but eventually u could scale into like 25m dps without crazy invest...if you go to poe.ninja u can see people at the end of last leauge with gigga builds doing 100m dps

I start with rain of arrows deadeye into ele hit of spectum and after that will try new warden ascendancy with league craft for free returning proj should be strong than ever.

Still consider ls deadeye/slayer, if claws get also nice craft will try it for sure.
