I am brand new. The game is currently downloading on my Playstation as we speak. Never tried this game so coming I'm absolutely blind.

I am not seeking freebies or carries.

I just want to ask, what tips/advice would you give someone for day 1 to get started? What things did you wish you knew when you started?

From what I understand this game seems to have quite a lot of complexity to it and I imagine it can be easy to feel overwhelmed at first.

I tend to play mage/caster types in games like this such as Diablo.

New League(ladder basically) starts on the 26th. This game is very, very complicated. I would honestly say, find a guide and play how the guide recommends. Then get into all the other stuff once you've learned those basics.

A lot of the old caster guides are going to change since most mage skills/builds kinda got nerfed. But you can look up builds and play standard if you weren't interested in League
