Cyclone itself got a massive buff of 88% more scaling of damage while only loosing a small amount of added phys.
~ It now has 61% Effectiveness of Base and Added Damage at gem level 1 (previously 44%), scaling up to 111% at gem level 20 (previously 59%).

Shockwave got a buff of 29%
~Now has 230% Effectiveness of Base and Added Damage at gem level 1 (previously 160%), scaling up to 336% at gem level 20 (previously 260%)

Infused Channeling got a buff of20% and now has take 10% LESS damage from hits while channeling.
~Supported Skills now deal 20% more Damage at gem level 1 (previously 15%), scaling up to 29% at gem level 20 (previously 24%)


so we are looking at base damage of 188% more x 29%more x 20% more = 291% more damage. Cyclone will be nearly 4x the damage it is now and 8-10m dps isnt that hard to reach now. so we will be seeing 30-50m dps pretty easilly from WW

and with the changes to endurance charges..cyclone slayer can be super tanky thanks to masterful form. Stack 7 frenzy charges easily for 7 endurance charges (3+1ascendancy+3tree)granting 28% physical and elemental dr.

get vaal pact leech slayer culling, good aoe range, should be a monster build

I remember some seasons back when a friend played a fire conversion cyclone chieftain.

We should not forget though that totems are gone now so the buffs will cover some of the damage lost here.
Plus all melee skills got buffed so I don't know how these buffs compare to slam skills.

Slams will proabably be better, but cyclone is smoother and more fun imo..

We lost totems but gained banner damage, not to mention not having to deal with totems, and the damage when totems were down etc..

also cant forget that these numbers reflect base damage which everything is then multiplied off of, for instance 80 elemental wep damage, will be much stronger now because our base is so much higher etc etc

I think you convinced me to run cyclone - haven't run it since harbinger when I use ngamahu's flame lol

Safe to run with a pob from last league you think for the first few days (planning to pull one from poeninja)? Not sure on all the passive changes, but I'd imagine it'll be ok/easy to tweek.

Was really thinking of making a cyclone for league start but decided to go with Jungroans power siphon mines as it seems pretty dam strong for such little gear. Ill prop rush atlas clear with that and look at cyclone for a 2nd build. But your right it does look super strong.
